Anthony Bosanquet Contact

A Trustee since 2001; Chairman since 2004. Owns and manages a small family estate in Monmouthshire. President of the Royal Forestry Society. Formerly President of the CLA (Country Land and Business Association) (1999-2001), Forestry Commissioner and Council member of FWAG (Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group).

Taught music for a number of years, including periods working at Eton and at a large comprehensive school in Abergavenny.

Trustee since 1994. Lives near Woodstock in Oxfordshire. A land agent, worked for Cluttons then as a Director of Savills in Oxford. Recently retired, but still manages New College’s affairs, as well as acting for some private clients. Trustee of the Nuffield Oxford Hospitals’ Fund.

Andrew Christie-Miller Contact

Trustee since 1994. Former owner of Clarendon Park Estate in Wiltshire; sold 2006. Vice-Chairman of Openfield Ltd (the largest farmer-owned grain marketing company in the UK). Trustee of Clinton Devon Estate and Roxburghe Estates. Former Chairman of GWCT (Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust) and Timber Growers UK.

Patrick Maclure Contact

The education Trustee since 2000; chairs all grants meetings. Llives in Winchester. A former schoolmaster and bursar at Horris Hill and Downe House. Since then, a number of roles at Winchester College, including Director of the Friends of the College, and Old Boys’ Secretary. Now semi-retired, he assists the Warden and Headmaster.

Trustee since 2004. Lives and farms at West Woodhay in Berkshire. High Sheriff for the Royal County of Berkshire 2008. Investment manager; Chairman of Witan Investment trust plc, former MD of Cazenove. Chairman of Farmington Trust (Wills family): Trustee of Countryside Foundation for Education. Director of the Cadogan Settled Estates Ltd and a Trustee of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust.

Victoria Edwards Contact

Trustee since 2007. Lives in the New Forest. Qualified as a rural chartered surveyor and valuer but currently an academic; lectures in Environmental Policy and Ecotourism at University of Portsmouth. Dr Edwards was appointed OBE in 2004 for services to the environment.

A former Forestry Commissioner and non-executive director of the Countryside Commission; sat on the Burns Enquiry (into hunting with dogs) in 2000.
