South of Melton Mowbray, the Little Dalby Estate is the largest
Trust estate, covering 5,300 acres.
Historically, it is famous for fox- hunting and as the origin of
Stilton cheese.
Today, much of the Estate is arable, but dairy, beef and sheep
farms are also prominent.
